This page is the one place on PassportPhotoGuide where commercial relationships are described. Nothing on the guide pages, the size pages or the checker depends on them, and no recommendation is written to favour a paying partner.
How the site is funded. PassportPhotoGuide is free to use and has no accounts. Running costs are covered in part by advertising and in part by affiliate partnerships with online passport-photo services and related document services. When a reader follows a link to one of those services and buys something, we may earn a commission. The price the reader pays is not affected, and the affiliate relationship never changes which specification figures are published or how the checker is written.
What we do not do. We do not sell or rent data, because the site holds none — the checker runs entirely in your browser and no photo is uploaded. We do not run paid placements inside the size tables: the numbers in those tables come from official sources, and a partner cannot buy a row or a favourable figure. We do not claim to be an official service, and every page links to the government source for the document it describes.
Independence. PassportPhotoGuide is not affiliated with any passport agency, immigration authority, retailer or photo service. Trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe services a reader might already be considering.
